OnRecord respects the intellectual property of others and responds to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”). This page explains how to report infringing content and how the process works.
If you believe content on OnRecord infringes a copyright you own or control, send a written notice to our designated agent at support@onrecord.gg(subject line: “DMCA Notice”) that includes all of the following:
When we receive a valid notice, we may remove or disable access to the material and will make a reasonable effort to notify the user who posted it. Incomplete notices may delay our response.
If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification to support@onrecord.gg that includes: your name, address, phone, and email; identification of the removed material and where it appeared; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification; your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district (or, if outside the U.S., a district where OnRecord may be found); and your signature. We may restore the content if the original complainant does not pursue a legal action.
We will, in appropriate circumstances, suspend or terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
Submitting a knowingly false notice or counter-notice may expose you to liability for damages. Make sure your claim is accurate before sending it.
